Cloaking Technology

Many of us have watched the famous Bollywood movie Mr. India and the Hollywood movie Hollow Man. Both movies are based on science and fiction. But many of us want to be invisible. some of us have fascinated about this also.

But this question always arises in our mind that can we be invisible?

If I tell you that we can do this to some extent, believe me, I am not telling lies.

Let start our tour to explain how can we achieve this goal.

What is Cloaking Technology?

Technology that can cause objects, such as individuals or anything, to be partially or wholly invisible to parts of the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum.

Now let me tell you some phenomenon of how human eyes are capable of viewing any object and how it happens.

explanation:- when light (incident) reflected back but by changing its path and when it strikes or captured by our eye the retina of our eye makes images of that object by whom it was reflected.

this phenomenon makes us see anything and it also provides colors to that object. This all happens just because of the properties of light.

There are many ways and techniques which can help us to develop this technology some of them are 

1) Metamaterial
2) Active Camouflage
3) Plasma Stealth
4) Howell/Choi Cloaking Device

Today I'll tell you about Metamaterial.

As far as I concluded after reviewing many articles and researches this is the only way to achieve our goal.

Metamaterial

A metamaterial is any material engineered to have a property that is not found in naturally occurring materials. They are made from assemblies of multiple elements fashioned from composite materials such as metals and plastics. The materials are usually arranged in repeating patterns, at scales that are smaller than the wavelengths of the phenomena they influence. Metamaterials derive their properties not from the properties of the base materials, but from their newly designed structures. Their precise shape, geometry, size, orientation, and arrangement gives them their smart properties capable of manipulating electromagnetic waves: by blocking, absorbing, enhancing, or bending waves, to achieve benefits that go beyond what is possible with conventional materials.

metamaterial gives us a facility by which we can be invisible, it blends with the surrounding by using properties of light. It has the property of bending light rays and makes this material a kind of illusion but using physics, and reflect those rays of light to create that illusion.

Metamaterial cloaking is the usage of metamaterials in an invisibility cloak. This is accomplished by manipulating the paths traversed by light through a novel optical material. Metamaterials direct and control the propagation and transmission of specified parts of the light spectrum and demonstrate the potential to render an object seemingly invisible. Metamaterial cloaking, based on transformation optics, describes the process of shielding something from view by controlling electromagnetic radiation. Objects in the defined location are still present, but incident waves are guided around them without being affected by the object itself.

1.Stealth technology
2.Quantum stealth etc.

I would like to suggest you guys watch a movie named spectral in which it has been well explained about some sort of cloaking technology. described how Higgs boson particles can be useful to fulfill this dream.
I know its a move and I really don't know how much it would be helpful.
